Frank Belfrage

Frank Belfrage is one of Sweden’s longest serving diplomats, with nearly 50 years in the Swedish Foreign Service. His career includes ambassadorial posts in Paris, Riyadh and Brussels (EU). As State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Frank negotiated Sweden’s accession to the EU in 1995. He served as Deputy Foreign Minister between 2006 and 2014, heading the Ministry under then Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt. Frank joined Consilio as a Partner in 2015.
